According to the National PTA, “When parents are involved with their children’s education and strive to develop a partnership with their schools, test scores are higher, discipline problems decrease, and students experience greater achievements.
Possibilities are endless when parents volunteer their time to SSPP. Our parents take an active role in our school community. The Parent Guild (PTG) leads our fundraising activities of help offset the cost of tuition. The PTG also hosts school assemblies and extra-curricular activities for the students. The School Advisory Council, composed of parents, parishioners, and members of the greater community offer expertise, advice, and support to the pastor and principal in areas that help strengthen parental and community support for Saints Peter and Paul.
At the beginning of each school year a volunteer form is sent home giving you the opportunity to sign up for the many activities and events that SSPP hosts during the school year
In summary, the time, talents, and energies that our parents give to SSPP are greatly appreciated and worthwhile. Parents who are involved in the education process of their child/ren, will attest that their children grow up to be giving, dedicated, involved adults also.
